A new chapter opens in the reinvention of the South Bank

Park Plaza Hotels Europe fifth London hotel, Park Plaza County Hall, opens in February 2008.

Each of the hotels 398 guestrooms will have large flat screen televisions, irons, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar and a safe for laptops, with 300 having both a bath and separate shower in their en-suite bathrooms. Blurring the line between hotel room and studio apartment, 300 guestrooms will also have a fitted kitchenette and separate, relaxed seating area. The seven upper-floor penthouse suites will boast stunning views of the river, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

This brand-new addition to the regenerated South Bank skyline will feature a dramatic atrium from the concept restaurant on the mezzanine floor and include a fully-staffed business centre serving six state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a fitness suite, sauna, steam room, beauty treatment room and a stylish lounge bar.

Park Plaza County Hall is being developed in partnership with Galliard Homes and Frogmore Property Company Limited and is scheduled to open within its sizeable 100m budget.
